Finally at last today the web site shows that my Labor is certified. I am really glad at it. PBEC has shown us the HELL on earth and though I am 43 years old, I feel like much older than that due these PBEC guys. They never realize that this is our biggest milestone.
My NOF was on Prevailing Wage as my pay was 65K and PBEC wanted to increase it to 87K. But our attorney's have submitted third party surveys and we have given up thinking that PBEC will not agree for it.
I know how hard it is to live without a status. I pray that PBEC guys releases every one from their HELL. Details are in my signature.

Greencard is our right because we have been waiting long enough and paid a lot for it, and we will not just take greencard but also get our citizenship. After getting citizenship we will make our pro-immigrant senators win election and help defeat anti-immigrant Senators. We will contribute money in getting pro-immigrant lawmakers get elected. first: indulging in a completely useless dicussion
this is your prerogative but this forum really does have a purpose and a well defined goal. it behoves those who use it to be aligned with the goals of the organization, not completely obsessed with a receipt that is at best a tiny way station in a long journey.
second and this needs undivided attention- and rereading as many times as needed: personal attacks, offensive language and divisive fueds are against the policy of this forum. if you have a problem with this, read the posting guidelines. make sure you understand them completely.
third: junior and senior is nothing but a representation of the number of posts from a member. if the posts are nothing but self obsessed rantings, then senior is just a word that means nothing. posts can be approved or disapproved by members using the tools above. this results in green or red squares in front of a members name. that may be a better representation of other members opinions than just the number of posts.
fourth: those who live in glass houses do not ...do a lot of things frankly. you cannot complain about other's language or content if yours fails to meet the same criteria. i urge you to be civil in your tone and choose your words carefully. we are here to be a one united community working to end retrogression. not to rave and rant about each other, take or make sides, threaten (with what?), or endlessly obsses about dates and notices.
please by all means track your progress and give and take information.
but do it with some decorum.

I am a PT on an H1B visa working for the last 3 years. I have a pending I-140 (PD March 07). My husband and I shall be filing our I-485's soon. My visa screen is valid till Nov 2009. At the rate things are moving dont think my PD will be current for a while. Does that mean I have to renew my visa screen in 2009? Not sure if it had to be present at time of filing I-485 or at time of receiving a visa number.

My I-140 approved at TSC on 02/23 and my attorney received the approval notice.
But the online status is still showing the case as pending. I thik TSC is offline on the status now.

Any validity to this claim ?
If so, Does this mean that all I-485 that can be filled with the latest jump in priority date will be voided ?

I don't think this is a pattern, its probably specific just to the lender you were working with.
Frankly speaking the lender has the right to deny you the loan for whatever reason they feel is risky. So no point arguing with them.
Try another lender and hope it works.

I have talked to a representative and he very patiently explained me about the mess.
He clearly and very clearly told me that they have a deadline to send all receipts for June end and July 2nd filers by friday (tomorrow) or worst case monday.
He mentioned that they are working hard to meet this deadline.
Hope this clears the anxiety.

Well said. On top of all this, there is a huge social pressure on NRIs from Indian parents/relatives to buy a property in India. It goes like this, if Hari, Babu and Kanwal all have it, why don't you buy something in Delhi as well. Now builders have started talking in terms of crores. You call them and ask the price, they would say "point six", means zero point six crores (for 1200 sq ft 2 BHK). There is no way on this earth someone should pay that much for 1200 sq ft in Noida/Delhi/Anywhere in India.
My advise, let people, relatives say what they want to say. This market is bound to come down. Just wait and see. Thank you.
Yes. 0.6 crore for 2b apt is way too much. If you put little more money here in TX, you can buy a manson (4/5 bed room independent house) with swiming pool. However, one can not ignore the advise of having property/house in home country, for many other reasons. But the price should be reasonable/cost worthy.
