ALL,
As expected this happened, but it happened sooner than expected.
This expected sooner because CIR was voted out in Senate and this was not thought about by this goverment.
Basically this was a close door arrangement between govt agencies which temporarily wanted to lower the friction by IV AND SIMILAR GROUPS.
BUT finally I believe this will come to a rest once we have new government next year.
Till that we are a tennis ball which can be tossed to any court.
PS: I dont even have I-140 and not even applied for one.
So best of luck to all and me.

Is premium processing available for EAD?
It seems USCIS published rule in federal register at one time. http://a257.g.akamaitech.net/7/257/2422/01jan20061800/edocket.access.gpo.gov/2006/pdf/06-4754.pdf
I checked current EAD form and dont see any reference to premium processing being available
ANyone has insight?

Can I use AC21 portability to move to another employer C or better yet use it to transfer 485 to current employer B using my EAD?

Dallas-Fort Worth Immigration Lawyer Has Just Posted the Following:
U Visas: extended until February 1, 2010.
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) extended the filing deadline for temporary benefits of the U Non-immigrant Interim Relief Program. The temporary benefits program was set to expire December 31, 2009 but has been recently extended until February 1, 2010.
H-1C Visas: expired December 21, 2009
USCIS accepted H-1C non-immigrant temporary workers petitions expired December 21, 2009. The H-1C classification authorized up to 500 nurses annually to work in eligible health care facilities. Although the visa classification expired, nurses currently in H-1C status will not be affected.

This might be little bit old, but I dont remember seeing a post on this. Employment-based immigrant visa fees almost doubled, Old fees $ 355, new fees $ 720 from July 13th. Does this mean USCIS will open the gates in Sept bulletin [to be released in August]?

Hi,
I want to know if i can get a GC without the labour filing. I am currently on L1A visa, but i came into US initially on H1B visa. Given below are the details
H1B petition approved on: 10/01/2005
Entry into USA on H1B : 04/23/2006
L1A petition approved on : 09/23/2008
Different people tell me different things, some say i will still be considered as H1B and hence have to go through labour filing since i entered USA in H1B status. Some say since my current visa is L1A, i qualify for EB1 category and hence labour is not required and i will get the GC in 6 months. Not sure what is true.

Hi!. I am helping my brother for his PERM. He has a BS Electrical Engineering in the Philippines. Is there a requirement to get an education equivalency assessment for PERM? Does he need to have a US Electrical Engineering license as a support for PERM as well?
He has not yet started yet. We are still studying several options. He also has 7 years experience in the Philippines. Can that BS +7 years outside the US count for EB2 PERM?
