ICE officials have announced the break up of a major marriage fraud ring in Texas. According to ICE: A 72-year-old grandmother who operated a marriage fraud ring for decades was sentenced Sept. 23 to serve 44 months in federal prison. The sentence was announced by Acting U.S. Attorney James T. Jacks of the Northern District of Texas. I filed for EAD (new application) 30 days back along with my AOS applications. Finished my FP on the 25th day.
Normally How long it take to get EAD from Texas Service center. ??

My PERM was filed in Dec, 2006 and was denied on April, 2007. As per my employer's lawyer it was erroneously denied by DOL. The lawer has received the denial letter but no reason was stated. He was keep on follwing up with DOL but no answers. On Aug 2007, lawyer was followed up again directly with the DOL office in Atlanta , with the liaison at the American Immigration Lawyer's Association and also it was sent to the congressional office. Through Senetor we came to know that there was typo in the date field. The lawer is persuing to get the denal letter again with reason so that we can appeal. But we have 10% chance to get the another deial letter. Now lawer is asking for filling a new PERM. In between I lost 8 months and now I'm running out time. My 6th year is expiring on Sept08. Just incase if we din't get denial letter and file the new PERM on Mrach can we get the 7th year extension ? (We will show all the documents etc for previos denail case and there was no reason in denail letter. PLEASE HELP

As of April 6, 2009, all applicants for non-immigrant visas at the U.S. consulate in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, must now enroll at the Applicant Service Center (ASC) fingerprint appointment before attending the interview appointment. I have 1-485 pending (my husband is main applicant for our greencard application).
I entered US last time using Advanced parole and I was working on EAD then. What should be my
1. Manner of Entry
2. Current immigration Status
I thought it's supposed to be Parolee with 1-485 pending. But only related drop down menu I cans see is PAR:Parolee. Is that what I should select?
I tried to find this in existing thread but could not find it. I will appreciate your help with this.

Hello,
I am a brain cancer patient. If something happens to me, Would my wife and children continue to get the GC?
I have filed my I 485 in July 2007. My priority date is Sept 2003 (EB3). My wife has EAD and she is working.
I would really appreciate if somebody replies.

I am working for company A on H1 which is valid until November 2010. I would like to work for Company B on EAD, since company B would not do H1
To be on the safer side, I would to like have another H1 from company C, so that if anything happens with I-485, I can join company C on the H1.
Is this possible? Do I have to travel out of country in order to work for company C on H1?
In some of the forums I saw that, we can go to H1 from EAD as long as our H1B is unexpired. Pls let me know what you know about this.

You can get I-20 etc. But I think you will have to go to home country to get your F1 stamped. But better check with a lawyer.
