    I am taking part time MBA courses and Berkeley did offer private student loans without co-signer. Apart from that, I am trying to finance this with my savings. The below thread has some details about applying for FAFSA while on EAD.

    i just can't buy into the digital lens system.. Lenses are such an investment and I'd hate to go to a system like that, then a few years later have them offer their new "higher end" camera with a full frame.

    One of the comments on my post earlier today about the killed Border Patrol agent seemed pretty harsh - accusing most BP agents of being restrictionists with bad motives. I still think that's harsh and most Border Patrol agents are honestly out to do the necessary job of protecting our country's borders.     Hello everyone,
    I had filed for my I485 on 19th July at Nebraska. My 90 days are getting over on 19th Oct. Still I have not received any receipts for I-485,EAD,I-131.
    My lawyer is going to call USCIS to inquire about my case.
    Does any one had experience calling USCIS after 90 days were over and the USCIS tracked your application and you got your receipts.
    Would be great if any one can share there experiences.

    Need advice on how to reopen a bia appeal. We have vacated an aggravated felony Sept 25 that precluded any relief. Ninth circuit review pending and im seeking an extension on the opening brief until I find out bia status. The question I have is if i should just use IAC as an argument or just try to reopen based on a material change? I dont want to open a "can or worms" but the attorney throughout the 5 year court proceedure never advise to vacate or any post conviction remedies. Bia appeal decision Apr 29/09 is past the ninty days.

    My first H1 was from "Company A" back in 2001. Company A also sponsored me for my green card. In 2005 I transferred my H1 to Company B, however my green card was still sponsored with Company A. I have an approved I-140 and I am waiting on my PD to become current. My H1 is suppose to get renew in August of 2007, which will be through Company B.

    I have heard that after 6 years renewal, your current H1 company should have sponsored you for green card in order to get the 7th year H1. And as you can see in my case that my previous company has sponsored me for my
    H1 and not my current company.

    Can someone put some light on this issue.

    Hi,

    I had visited US for 6months in 2005 on H1B visa and currently my H1B is expired( Expired in Jun 2007). Now, I am in US on H4 visa. Can anyone please let me know is it possible to renew expired H1B now? If so, what is the procedure for the same?

    Your help in this regard is highly appreciated.

    That would have to be in the form of COS., and I think that counts towards the cap, am not 100% though.

    Okay anyways, here is my entry. I drew this from a picture that was taken of me (left obviously) and my cousin in Disney World last June.

    I'll scan it once I get my printer/scanner/cappuccino-maker all set up (just moved into a new place). I'll also scan the original photo so you can compare.

    Anyways, I thought it turned out well, although I kind of look like a zombie and all my fingers look sort of broken. :lol:

    My Parents have 10 yr visitor visa. They came to USA, stayed for 4 months and left in July 09. Now they want to come again in October 09 and stay for 6 months. Is it possible? Do they face any issues at POE? Gurus please give your valuable thoughts or experiences?

    If your labor is not approved by June 09, you can extend H1-B based on pending labor for more than 1 year. If it will be approved before June, you will be able to apply I-140 premium processing and then extend H1.

    No he doesn't have pending GC status.His wife is on 4th year of H1 and she already got EAD.But her priority date is not current (Sept 06)to add him to her GC status immediately.
