I kinda like this explanation better: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/cc301810.aspx
The java2s site only describes delegates but doesn't explain why they are useful...unless I didn't ready it carefully.

Call me insanely confused idiot, but here is a thing:
I work for a major MNC (of course pays me 15% less than I should be making). My boss is also leaving the company. At the same time, I am getting an offer from another local (small) company, better position and pay. My GC is pending PD Jul-05/EB2 India from MNC. Should I leave at the 11th hour?
Just to clarify both are consulting companies.

Hi,
I have been married to a US Citizen for more than 6 years and my green card was issued 5years ago. My green card was issued thru marriage. On the N-400 application form for citizenship what should I use as my eligibility? marriage or being a lawful permanent resident for at least 5 years? Thanks :)

One of the bigger myths floating around regarding DREAM is that it will lead to chain migration. The thought is that DREAMers will get citizenship and then quickly sponsor their parents for green cards. Not quite. DREAM Act recipients must wait ten years in a non-immigrant conditional status to apply for a green card. The adjustment of status will probably take a year or so to get and then a person must wait three more years for citizenship (which could take a year to get). So we're talking about 15 years to citizenship in all likelihood. Then they FILE for...

Hi,
I wanted to know how can we find out online whether our company cancelled my I-140 approval or not. I do not want to ask my company so I was looking for any other option telling me whether 140 is still good enough.
let me know.
Thanks in advance.

Why not install a microchip into every elected official, so that they are never ever tempted to do anything wrong ............. this way they truly will be working for the american people instead of themselves.

What a chaos? We were so close, turned out to be mirage. When do you expect your GC? My PD is Feb 2006. I do not expect anything positive in 3 years. I doubt anything changed in our career in 2 years. Where do we stand?
Frankly speaking, I always thought that this is going to harm the people with older priority dates but I never vented out. It turned out to be true. They chose almost randomly among the ones who filed during that time and quite many with old priority dates were left out. I think had that fiasco not been there and had priority dates moved slowly, the things would have been more streamlined.

Very shortly, Congress will consider legislation that could allow 60,000 foreign nurses to come to the US. We face a shortage that will approach a million by the end of the next decade. On a daily basis, the lack of nurses is a serious problem, but not so noticeable to the typical American. But what happens if we have a pandemic and all of a sudden hospitals around the country are called on to deal with hundreds of thousands - perhaps millions - of sick patients at the same time? We're getting a little preview of that right now with...
